Refunds Policy (Events & Weekenders)

This Refunds Policy applies to all bookings made with Padel Cornwall for ticketed events and weekenders, including the Padel Cornwall Weekender.

1) Deposits

If your booking includes a deposit:

  • Deposits are non-refundable, except if we cancel the event (see section 3).

Deposits secure your place and are used to plan and commit to supplier capacity.

2) Customer cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please email us as soon as possible at [your email].

If you cancel before 6 weeks before the Weekender:

  • Your deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Any additional payments you have made beyond the deposit will be refunded.

If you cancel on or after 6 weeks before the Weekender:

  • Your deposit is stillnon-refundable, because we are committed to supplier and operational costs.

  • We will refund 25% of the total value of your booking.

3) Event cancellation by Padel Cornwall (minimum numbers or unforeseen circumstances)

If we cancel an event or weekender for any reason (including not reaching minimum numbers by the deadline), you can choose either:

  • a full refund of all payments made (including your deposit), or

  • a free transfer to another date (if available).

4) Transfers to another person

You may transfer your booking to another person (subject to availability and eligibility requirements, e.g. age restrictions) by contacting us in advance with their details.

We may charge a small admin fee for last-minute changes.

5) Weather-related changes

Padel Cornwall weekends run in an outdoor environment, and the schedule may change due to weather or safety considerations.

  • We do not provide refunds for weather-related changes where the event still goes ahead.

  • If an activity must be changed for safety reasons, we will always aim to provide a reasonable alternative.

6) Refund processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank/payment provider to process the return (this can vary by provider).

  • Any non-recoverable payment processing fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.
